Born May 2, 1941 in Seminole, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Ralph V. and Helen I. (Cornman) Bright.
She married Gale E. Beers on November 5, 1958. He survives.
Mrs. Beers was a housewife. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Church of God.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Beers is survived by her mother: two sons, Rodrick Beers of Wasilla, Alaska, and Shawn Beers of Ridgway; one daughter, Wendy Frantz of Saxonburg; one sister, Shelley Shoemaker of Seminole;
four brothers, Donald Bright of Hermitage, Barry Bright of Virginia, Al Bright of Distant, and Mark Bright of Putneyville; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
There will be no visitation. A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. The Charles D Alcorn Funeral Home of Hawthorn is in charge of the arrangements.
Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery at Distant, Armstrong County
