Iola Acton
PARIS, Mo. — Mrs. Iola Acton, 75, of Paris, died at 1 a.m. Sunday (May 5, 1985) in the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico.
Mrs. Acton was born Aug. 16, 1909, in Whitehall [sic], Ill., a daughter of Roy and Grace Hankins Smith. She was married to John Acton. He survives Mrs. Acton was a member of the Goss Pentecostal Church.
Also surviving are a son, John W. Acton of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Bryant of Bear, Ark., and Mrs. Agnes Grace Monter of Pasca, Wash.; a stepson, Joseph Acton of San Francisco, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Arnold of Wood River, Ill., Mrs. Una Book, of El Cajon, Calif., and Mrs. Josephine Angel of Puyallup, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Goss Pentecostal Church by William Siron. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Paris.
Memorials are suggested to the Goss Pentecostal Church. The Agnew Funeral Home of Paris is in charge off arrangements.
