Eleanor N. Bailey, 76, of Leesburg died Sept. 29, 2004, at the Leesburg Health and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. She was born in Kennebunkport, Maine, on January 31, 1928, a daughter of Willis and Nancy (Shuffleburg) Thompson. She attended Kennebunkport High School and worked at Roger Fiber for 32 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl J. Bailey. She is survived by son Willis F. Merrill of Kennebunkport, Maine; stepdaughter Norma Bailey Theobald of Leesburg; stepson Richard W. Bailer; 10 stepgrandchildren; 19 step-great-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk, Maine. A graveside service will follow at 10 a.m. in Arundel Cemetery, North Street, Kennebunkport, Maine.
