Unionville, Mo---Laura L Evans Lamb, 74, Unionville, Mo., formerly of Chillicothe, Mo., died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at Unionville Health-Care Center

Laura was born April 26, 1927, in Stockton, Kan. She grew up in Kansas and moved to Chillicothe, in 1941.

On Sept. 1, 1942, she married Harry Lamb in Wichita, Kansas. The couple lived in Wichita until moving to Chillicothe in 1954 and later to a farm north of Galt, Mo., in 1961. She moved to Unionville in 1995.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, in 1999; her parents, Walter Sr. and Hazel Evans; an infant sister, Donna Lee Evans; and a granddaughter, Donna Lamb.

Surviving: a daughter, Lynn L McKinley, Unionville; a brother, Walter Evans Jr., New Orleans, La., two sisters, Kate Towns, Wichita, and Thelma Smith, Logan, Utah; and a grandson, David.
