Lewis Henry Kirk is the son of John Kirk and Louisa Elizabeth Ahle Kirk. He Married Luella May Jacoby Kirk 20 Nov 1887 in Colfax, Clinton Co., IN. He is the father of my grandmother Flossie Hazel Kirk Lister.

Lewis was a farmer and the owner of several thrashing machines and was known as the best thrasherman in the state. He and his son-in-law started a well drilling business which was passed down to his sons who carried on with it for many years.
