Mrs. Charles ( Virginia P. " Gini " ) Heath, 75, of Morris, Illinois, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, April 27, 2011 in the Morris Hospital, with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 24, 1935 in Morris, Illinois, the daughter of Howard S. & Dorthea Morgan Cook.

She received her education in the Morris schools and graduated from Morris Community High School with the class of 1953. Gini married Charles W. " Chuck " Heath on May 2, 1954 in the 1st United Methodist Church in Morris, Illinois and on next Monday, May 2, 2011, they would have been married for 57 years.

She served as secretary for the Illinois Veterans Commission for several years when the office was located in the Grundy County Bank building.

With her husband, they attended the cruise nights in Morris, Illinois and showed their 1947 restored Ford Convertible with pride. In her early years, she loved to roller skate and that is how she met the love of her life, Chuck. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren.

She was a founding and active member of the Living Water Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving is her loving husband of almost 57 years, Chuck; three children, Duane ( Carla ) Heath of Bartlett, Illinois, Andrea ( James ) Baker of Morris, Illinois, & David ( Kim ) Heath of Cornell, Illinois; six grandchildren, Danielle Heath, Whitney ( Grant ) Rupp, Peter ( Tracey ) Baker, Holly ( Thomas ) Almanza, Dustin ( Hollie Smith ) Heath & Dallas ( Kim ) Rush; four great grandchildren, Ella, Tori, Dylan & Brody; one sister, Marjorie Castle, Delores, Co.; along with several nieces & nephews.

Preceded by parents and one brother, Raymond Cook.

Friends may call on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the U. C. Davis & Sons Funeral Home Ltd., 301 W. Washington St., Morris, Illinois, where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Steven Cook, pastor of the Living Water Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
