Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Hornbeck, 94, of Rocky Ford died on Tuesday, April 26th, 2011 peacefully at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta, CO.
Margaret was born in West Liberty, OH on April 9, 1917, the daughter of the late Nelson Levi and Grace Belle (Stayrook) King.
She graduated from West Liberty High School in Ohio and the Mennonite School of Nursing in La Junta.
She was married to Earl E. Showalter in 1942, they later divorced. She then married Richard Hornbeck in 1953, they later divorced.
She retired as a Registered Nurse from the Pioneer Medical Center Rocky Ford, CO.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints La Junta, CO.

Graveside Service at Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO, at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 29th, with Rev. Tom Dudley and Bishop David Mayhoffer officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-8 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery Rocky Ford, CO.
