Iva Lee Fowler Brown was the daughter of Daniel Lee and Thelma Trout Fowler. She graduated from Verden High School in 1939. She taught music for 15 years at Verden Schools then worked at the Bank of Verden until her retirement. She was a Sunday School teacher and church organist at the First Baptist Church in Verden for many years. Her husband was Don Brown who preceded her in death August 13, 1996. Their son is Donald L. Brown.
