One of 6 children to the late Bertha Pinquite and Earl Jones, Willie lived in Canton, Mississippi until 1956. He married Margaret Brown in 1946 and to this union 2 children were born. He lived great and loved even greater, raising many children as his own along with his wife. He departed this life for the eternal Thanksgiving evening of 1983 surrounded by loved ones during his transition.
Forever to carry on his memory are his beloved wife Margaret, son Percy, and daughters Alice, Carol, Helen, Ledora, and Lucy. One brother and son (Curtis) preceded him in death.
