SAN ANGELO - Sam Williams, 89, of Big Lake died Friday, March 31, 2006. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 3, at the First Baptist Church in Big Lake. Burial will be in Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake. Mr. Williams was born Oct. 20, 1916, in McGregor. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Williams of Big Lake; his children, Rodney Williams and wife Vicki of Columbus, Ohio, Carolyn Corbin and husband Randy of Christoval, Jody Garber and wife Debbi of Big Lake, Scharla Comeaux and husband Johnny of Lafette, La., and Nancy Hayes of Duson, La. Memorial may be made to Meals on Wheels. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mike Schwertner, Casey Davidson, Mark Noland, Wayne Smith, Josh Mitchell and Marvin Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Sandel, Buddy Winn, Frank Nichols and Hollis Rogers.
