ROBERTS, Victor Murry, Jr., 56, Ripley, died April 28, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in New Albany. He was born September 19, 1954 to Victor Murry and Vera Elyce Mauney Roberts in Chicago. He was a graduate of Blue Mountain College, attended MS State University and a graduate of NE MS College with an associate degree in nursing. He was formerly a registered nurse at Baptist Hospital in New Albany and a former Southern Baptist Minister, and very active in 4-H Club. Services were April 30 at 2 pm at McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Lowry Cemetery. Bro Joe Spencer officiated. Survivors include his wife, Lona Ray Roberts, Ripley; hismother, Vera Mauney Roberts, Ripley; one son, Daniel Murry Roberts, Ripley; one daughter, Kathryn Elyce Roberts Calabro, Cottonwood, AZ; two grandchildren, Christopher Patrick Murry Calabro and Kimberly Victoria Roberts. He was preceded in death by his father.
