He was born at Manchester, Massachusetts, August 22, 1831, coming to Hastings in 1855, and was married to Miss Mary J Landers, October 14, 1858.
He was a cabinet maker by trade, an upright and honorable man, and an old and highly esteemed citizen.
He leaves a wife and son, Clarence Brunson, of St. Paul and five grandchildren. There are two brothers and two sisters, William Choate of Manchester, Mass.; Charles, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Charlotte Hill, of Lynn, Mass.; and Mrs. Anna Lee, of San Diego, California.
The funeral was held from the train Wednesday afternoon, with interment at Lakeside, the Reverend R.L. Lewis officiating.
