Passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 at Covenant Healthcare, age 69 years. Ralph was born in Brimley, Michigan June 29, 1940 the son of the late Ralph R. and Fern (Morse) Albrough.
He married Charlotte Richards July 5, 2002 and she survives him. Ralph was a member of Sheridan Road Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army and the Coast Guard. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 150, Frankenmuth. Ralph loved gardening and he loved his church.
In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by eight children, Brenda (Jeff) Swanson, Michael (Patricia) Albrough, Juanita (Matt) English, Theresa (Ken) Gallie, Ralph (Vickie) Nichols, Denice Edwards, Kenneth (Melissa) Nichols and Kevin (Kathy) Nichols; 21 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter and one sister, Marion Albrough.
The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Sheridan Road Baptist Church. Rev. Lou Jurva will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Brimley, Michigan. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 5700 Dixie Highway Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Sheridan Road Baptist Church in Ralph's memory.
