Henry A. Krause, 85, of 701 Adams died Tuesday evening in Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
Private funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Hulse Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas DeGraaf, pastor of the Epworth United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Mr. Krause was born in Ottawa June 11, 1886, to Gustav and Anna Ohlendorf Krause. He married the former Florence Mumper Dec. 14, 1910. Mr. Krause was a retired contractor, a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church and various facets of the Masonic Order. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Eleanor) Clapper of Ottawa and Mrs. Wilbur (Ethel) Rowe of Bollingbrook, Ill., six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded by by his parents, two brothers, a sister and a grandson.
