Fronie L. (nee Salamink) Warner-Riley passed away at the Cedarcrest Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 20, 1978, having attained the age of 72 years, 10 months, and 17 days. Fronie was the daughter of the late Bernard and Elisabeth Salamink (nee Klusmeyer) and was born on November 3, 1905 in Rhineland, Montgomery County, Missouri. She received her education and grew to young womanhood in the Rhineland community. On December 15, 1923, she was married to Adolph C. Warner at Hermann, Gasconade County, Missouri. Two children were born of this union, one of whom she leaves to survive. After marriage, the couple resided at McKittrick, Montgomery County, MO., and Hermann, Gasconade county, Mo. After the death of her husband, Adolph on May 9, 1959, she was married to James Ezra Riley, on August 31, 1963. The deceased was a member of the St. Peter's United Methodist Church of Christ and the Gold Star Mothers. Mrs. Riley was employed at the KDK and Deb Shoe Company and later at the Hirschl & Bendhein Pipe Factory. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Adolph C. Warner, on May 9, 1959; one son, Bernard Warner, on June 24, 1946; two sisters, Emma and Celia; four brothers, George, William, Albert and John Salamink; and one grandson, Thomas Hoelscher. Surviving are her second husband, James Ezra Riley, of Washington, MO; two step-sons, John and Frank Riley; three step-daughters, Pauline Horn, Leona Bockover, and Agnes Mueller; one brother, Otto Salamink; two grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, September 23, 1978, at 4pm at the St. Peter's UCC Cemetery with Reverand Peter Meister officiating. Interment was in the St. Peter's UCC Cemetery, and arrangements were under the direction of Niedburg & Vitt Funeral Home.
