She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She taught us patience, charity and love. She truly endured to the end.
Born January 10, 1919 in Spring City, Utah to Alfred and Minnie Nielsen. Married James Claude Acord on April 21, 1941. Later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Faithful member of the LDS Church.
Survived by daughters Gayle Evans (David) Park City and Jeanette Gibbons (Gary) South Weber, son-in-law Howard Hansen, Spring City; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Claude, daughter Claudia Hansen, parents, three sisters, and one brother.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Spring City South Church (164 South Main Street). A viewing will be held prior to the services from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Burial will be in the Spring City Cemetery.
