Mrs. Freelove was born in Massachusetts in February 1807, being at time of death 98 Years, 9 Months of age. At the age of eight years old, she moved with her people to Lisle. She with two other children walked the whole distance while they brought the household goods with a team of oxen. They settled on a place in Manningville, now owned by J. M. Lucas. Later she married Joseph Freelove and he built a house on the road to Nanticoke, where she lived until about a year ago (with a son who died)."

"Mrs. O. Tompkins" was Mrs. Clarissa C. (Freelove) Tompkins, wife of Orville Tompkins. Orville was alive at the time of Hannah's passing. Orville died in 1908. Clarissa died in 1911.
