William B. Farant, Jr., 77, formerly of 5233 Powhatan Ave., insurance adjuster and owner of Farant & Co., died Monday in a hospital.
A lifelong Norfolk resident, he was the husband of the late Mrs. Virginia Moss Farant.
Surviving include three nieces, Miss Margaret S. Ferebee and Mrs. Mary F. Taylor of Norfolk, and Miss Randolph Taylor of Washington, and a nephew, John C. R. Taylor III of Austin, Tex.
A funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by Dr. William L. Lumpkin. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments has charge. The family will be at 1336 Westover Ave. They request that flowers be omitted.
