Florence C. Adams died at the home of her brother Fred Adams on Merchant on February 9, 1918. She was born Aug. 18. 1864, the daughter of Willard and Marinda Brownell Adams. Her father's death occurred April 13, 1880, and her mother passed away Jan. 15, 1913. The deceased had been an invalid since her birth, requiring great care to which her mother until her death was constant in attendance. At her mother's death the burden was laid upon the sister, Mrs. Fred Adams, who for five years has been her caretaker and often the burden has been great. The body was placed in the vault at Hopkinton until spring. The deceased leaves her brother Fred Adams and one sister Mrs. Charles Gibson, and several nephews and one niece.
