"LAURA MCGILL RITES SET
Laura L. Mcgill, 79 year-old resident of 1306 F Street died at 12:30 a.m. today at her home. She had been ill for several years.
Mrs. Mcgill was born November 24, 1891 the daughter of the late John and Susie Short Sease. She was united in marriage to John W. McGill in 1912, who survives.
Other survivors include five sons, Walter P., Leo W., Robert R., Joseph D., and James R. McGill, all of Bedford; two sisters, Eva Bell McGill at home and Mrs. Josephine Gassaway of Bedford; nine grandchildren and one brother, Earl Sease of Salem, Indiana. Five children preceded her in death.
Last rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Vernon Souder officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Friends may call at the Day & Carter Mortuary after 6:00 p.m. today."

Funeral services for Laura L. McGill of 1306 Street, who died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Vernon Souder officiating.
"The Old Rugged Cross", "Beautiful Isle" and "Beyond The Sunset" were sung by Mrs. Marvin Jean and Mrs. Frank Canada. They were accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Irvin Mann.
Flowers were in charge of Bernice Inman, Suella Grubb, Mildred Ragsdale, Lavern Grubb, Wanda Grubb, and Bertha Grubb. Pallbearers were John Grubb, Melburn Box, Lewis Watson, Barney Gassaway, Fred Harrell, and Sherman Cooper.
In the death detail, Eva Bell McGill and Mrs. Josephine Gassaway were incorrectly listed as sisters, they are daughters of Mrs. McGill.
Burial took place in the Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary."
