RINGGOLD, GA - Christopher Dewayne Black, 47, departed this life Wednesday, April 27, 2011, along with his wife, Pamela Hargis Black and two children, Chelsea and Cody Black.
Chris was an employee of Hicks Tufting and was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Henry Black.
He is survived by his mother, Martha Carter, of Ringgold, GA; sister, Patti (Charles) Stephens, of Ringgold, GA; brother, Ricky Black, of Ringgold, GA; granddaughter, Beatrix Pearl Black and three nieces, Taylor, Casey and Haley.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle in Ringgold, GA.
Interment will follow at New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday until funeral time.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold, GA.
