RINGGOLD, GA - Pamela Lynn Hargis Black, 46, departed this life Wednesday, April 27, 2011, along with her husband, Christopher Black and two children, Chelsea and Cody Black.
Pamela was a mail carrier of the Postal Service in Ringgold, GA for 10 years and attended Welcome Hill Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Sherwood and Patricia Ann Self Hargis.
She is survived by her sister, Connie (Levon) Wilson, of Ringgold, GA; three brothers, Doug Hargis, of Rossville, GA, Stewart (Paula) Hargis, of Ringgold, GA, and Bruce (Susan) Hargis, of Ringgold, GA; granddaughter, Beatirx Pearl Black; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle in Ringgold, GA.
Interment will follow at New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday and until funeral time Tuesday at Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold, GA.
