Murder Victim and the father of basketball player Michael Jordan. On July 23, 1993, Mr. Jordan was carjacked and kidnapped in Fayetteville, North Carolina. His car was found stripped in a wooded area near Fayetteville on August 5. His body was found in the Gum Swamp by a fisherman near McColl, South Carolina on August 3. The body was so badly decomposed they had to use dental records for identification.
