Browne, Mildred
Mildred Browne, 92, died April 29, 1976 at St. Michaels's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, where she was a resident.
The former Mildred Simonton, a lifelong resident of Sauk Centre, was born to Joseph and Jennie Stabler Simonton on July 25, 1883, at Sauk Centre. She was married in Sauk Centre to Edward Browne on July 22, 1936. Prior to that marriage she had worked as secretary to the then superintendent of schools, H. A. Falk.
She is survived by two nephews, a niece, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank Simonton of Calgary, Alberta, Can.
Funeral services were Saturday, May 1, at the Schad Funeral Home with the Rev. B. Edmon Martin officiating. Burial was at Oakland Cemetery, Sauk Centre.
