She and her husband, the late Victor. A. T. Albright, came to Bedford in 1910 and founded the Meyers Company, a local industry which has been in continuous operation since that time.
She was born July 21, 1889 in Stephensburg, Morris County, New Jersey, the daughter of Willard F. and Elizabeth Daly Meyers. She married Mr. Albright November 24, 1909, in Newark, NJ. He died May 6, 1973.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, St. Agnes Guild, John Wallace Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority, Daughters of the American Colonists 1607-1776, the National Huguenot Society, and the National Society of Colonial Dames of the XVII Century.
She was a graduate of Miss Baird's Institue in Stanford, CT.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. Victor F. Albright of Winchester, VA and Willard Albright of Bloomington; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Kelly of Stanford, CT and Mrs. George (Maxine) Baldwin of Stanford, CT; a brother, Willard F. Meyers, Jr., of Hackansack, NJ.
Funeral services will e at 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. John's Episcopal Church, with Rev. Robert Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
