Myron Paul Arthur Vogt was born June 20, 1931, in West St. Paul. He graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo., in 1956 and served Lutheran churches in Nebraska City, Neb., Pleasant Dale, Neb., Elmore, Minn., Rosemount, Minn., Chatfield, Miramar, Fla., Kendall, Fla., and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He also served as a chaplain at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Fla. from 1982 to 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Lorna Marie Cloeter; five sons, Michael (Doris), Stephen (Andrea), Thomas (Julie), Jonathan (Elizabeth), and James; six grandchildren; two brothers, Rev. Gordon of Minneapolis, and Leon (Susan) of West St. Paul. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
The funeral for Rev. Myron Paul Arthur Vogt was July 8 at Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Interment was at Riverview Cemetery in West St. Paul.
