MARION - Willie J. Dozier, 65, farmer of the Gapway section of the county, died at his home there this afternoon at 6 o'clock. Mr. Dozier had been ill for two weeks.
He is survived by his wife; one son, W. Tate Dozier of Raleigh, NC; four daughters, Mrs. Monroe Floyd, Mrs. LeGrand Shelley, Mrs. Utley Collins and Miss Marjorie Dozier, all of Mullins; and one brother, L. B. Dozier of Rains.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Reedy Creek church eight miles south of Marion. The Rev. E. P. Keene will be in charge.
