Chaffee - John William Blasingame, 68 years old, died this morning at his home here. He was born June 9, 1902, at Springdale, Ark. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
He was married to the former Miss Deloris McGrew of Monette, Ark., in 1951. She survives. They moved to Chaffee from Monette in June of this year.
Other survivors is a brother, Carl Blasingame; four half-brothers, Ovie Blasingame, James W. Blasingame, Dennis Blasingame and Elmer Blasingame; a sister, Mrs. Pattie Griggs; and five half-sisters, Mrs. John Martin, Mrs. Eva Adkins, Mrs. Osie Ingram, Mrs. Covie Hatley and Mrs. Nadine Pettis.
Funeral services will be Friday in the Bispinghoff Funeral Home in Chaffee. Burial will be at the New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
