Edna Pearl Jackson, 12708 Val Verde Drive, Oklahoma City, died Monday, October 31, 1988 at Canterbury Health Center. She was born November 30, 1898 in Sherman, Texas, to Parm and Minnie Thomas.

Mrs. Jackson was a Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and belonged to the White Shrine. She was also a member of the Dot and Bow Club and the AARP. Her church membership was with the University Place Chrisitan Church. Making a comfortable home meant a great deal to Mrs. Jackson. She was one who always had a pleasant personality and she enjoyed doing things for others.

Survivors include her children, Maribelli Strong and William Robert Jackson, both of Dallas, Texas, and Peggy A. Cooper of Oklahoma City; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, C.T. Thomas of Kingston, Oklahoma; sisters, Marie Patric of Oklahoma City and Bonnie Beyers of Palm Springs, California; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Jackson. Memorials may be made to Canterbury Health Center, Oklahoma City. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 1988, at the Guardian North Chapel with interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
