Age 84, of Clarksville, DE, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Harbor Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Lewes, DE. He was born in Wilmington, DE, son of the late Walter E. and Minnie (Achenbach) Cleaver. Mr. Cleaver grew up in Gordon Height's, north of Wilmington. He worked for his father for many years at Walter E. Cleaver and Sons Mason Contractors. Mr. Cleaver moved to Clarksville, DE to be near the water which he loved. He worked as a deep sea fishing captain for many years in Ocean City, MD.

He is survived by his sister, Thelma Wheatley and her husband Eldridge of Earlville, MD, and cousin Mary. He will be greatly missed by his employee Laurie and his many nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter L. Cleaver and Charles E. Cleaver and wife Catherine.

All services and interment are private at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
