Clark's Hill - John W Barton Jr, 71, died at 7:50 Saturday in St Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. He had been in failing health for several months. He was born in oxford on December 15, 1920 and graduated from Clark's Hill High School in 1938. He had lived in Clark's Hill for many years. Mr Barton married Barbara McMindes on October 2, 1949 in Francesville and she survives. He served in the Air Force for 20 years. Also surviving are a son, John W Barton III, of Clark's Hill, a daughter, Mrs Barbara A Summerfield of Clark's Hill, and a sister, Mrs Betty Barney of Tampa, Florida.
