Mr. Freeman died Tuesday, April 19, at his residence. He was born Sept. 16, 1931 in Bremen to Charlie Washington Freeman and Lena Stricklin.
He was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, Gracie Manning and Vera Florence; and 2 brothers, Duel and Denson Freeman.
Survivors include his wife, Emmalene Freeman; son, Robert Denison Freeman; 2 daughters, Donna Laratta and Samantha Bullard; 2 sisters, Mello Jo Liveley and Eva Fields; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
