Dennis Carl Sallee, 59, of Kansas City, Mo passed away May 3, 2011. Dennis was born March 19, 1952 in Redtop, Mo to Paul F Sallee and Ola Mae (Newport) Sallee. He attended Buffalo High School class of 1971 and was in the Reserves. He married Linda Kaye (Elliott)of Plad, MO in 1971 and was the father of Cindy (Sallee) Underwood of Urbana Mo. He grew up in and around the Buffalo area and moved to the Kansas City area around 1976, where he worked for numerous years at Swingster in Bonner Springs, Kansas. He became active in the church at Avondale United Methodist and was a past Master of Compass Lodge #120 in Parkville, Mo.
He is proceeded in Death by both his parents. Survivors include his wife Linda, daughter Cindy, 5 grandchildren; Tim Sallee of Kansas City, Chris Sallee of Urbana, Dalton Underwood of Urbana, Nikki Underwood of Urbana, and Dani Underwood of Urbana; 3 brothers; Oral Sallee of Redtop, Boyd Sallee of Fair Grove, Jerry Sallee of Harrisonville and 1 sister Karen (Sallee) Johnson of Springfield ; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His body was cremated with a memorial service to follow on May 21, 2011 at Avondale United Methodist Church in Avondale, Mo.
