Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Mummasburg Mennonite church, for
Abraham E Batterman, 37, who died in the Hanover General hospital, Sunday morning of complications. He was a son of David and Amanda Whisler Batterman, of Adams County.
At the age of four years he suffered from pneumonia which left him in a semi-crippled condition. He had made his home with his aunt, Mrs. Annie Bair, 652 Broadway, Hanover.
Surviving are three brothers and two sisters, David W Batterman, Harrisonburg, Virginia;
Samuel Batterman, near New Oxford; Jacob F Batterman, Lancaster; Mrs. Samuel Musselman, Gettysburg RD, and Mrs. Samuel Frey, near Hanover.
