Albert Ainsworth, my Great Grandfather, originally born in England emigrated to the United States in 1901. He initially entered the United States via Philadelphia and settled in Swarthmore, PA. He was a wallpaper designer, and still today you can find his designs. In 1902 the rest of his family, 6 boys and my Great Grandmother Ethel Hothersal, came to the United States. This is where my family tree in America starts.

The 2nd of six sons born to David Ainsworth and Maria Whalley.
