Marguerite Elarbee Anderson

Marguerite Elarbee Anderson, 95, of Savannah, died Friday, January 9, 2004 at Riverview Nursing Home under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was born in Daisy, Ga., and was preceded in death by her husband, LaCount L. Anderson, Sr. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple, and had formerly been a member of the Senior Choir, served as a Sunday School Teacher, and a Church Training Department Teacher, a member of the Ida Coswell Sunday School Class, and along with her late husband, worked with the Young Adults at the Church. Mrs. Anderson had worked as a Receptionist, for Calvary Baptist Temple for 25 years, prior to retiring. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, LaCount L. and Agatha Anderson, of Savannah, GA.; four grandchildren, LaCount L. Anderson, III; Glenda A. Benton, John Grady Anderson, and Timothy S. Anderson, and five great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hubert C. B aker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Larry Williams, and Dr. John Connell, officiating.
