Aemer Delano Anderson, 51, youngest son of Anstis Anderson of Hayland Township, died Saturday, May 14, at his home in Grants Pass, Ore.
He is survived by his wife Myra, two daughters, Susan of Champaigne, Ill., and Cheryl of San Jose, Calif., his mother and two brothers, Phil and Ra, of Milaca, three sisters, Bette Ripke of Arden Hills, Allyne McAllister of Edina and Mary Lou Maudsley of Calimesa, Calif., ten nieces and nephews and two grandnieces.
Aemer was born in Milaca Jan. 8, 1933 to Anstis and A. Henry Anderson. He graduated from Milaca High School, recieved a B.S. with high didtinction from the University of Minnesota, a master's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Ph.D. from Stanford University. He taught at Stanford, the University of Illinois, Clemson, South Carolina and for Exxon Corporation in Libya.
Internment was in Palo Alto, Calif.
