Alonda Rae Acie, 48, of Monroeville, departed this life Saturday, April 30, 2011, at home. She was born Oct. 28, 1962, in McKeesport, the daughter of Paulette Acie, of McKeesport, and the late Samuel Boyd, of Clairton. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School and worked as a housekeeping supervisor at the Springhill Suites Marriott in Monroeville. Surviving are her son, Giorgo R. Acie, of McKeesport; siblings, Larri Acie-Byrd and Kennetta Acie, both of McKeesport, Brian and Patrick Boyd, both of Clairton; grandfather, Paul Acie, of McKeesport; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at New Beginnings Church, 705 Shaw Ave., McKeesport. Services will begin at 1 p.m. with Elder Albert Stinson officiating. Interment will follow in the McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport. Local arrangements by the ROBERT A. WATERS FUNERAL HOME.
