Frances died in 1897, and on May 15, 1900 Ezra married Lillian Fischer Field in Wilder, MN. Lillian had a daughter Zada Field from her first marriage. She and Ezra had one son, Melville Eugene Winslow, born in 1901,
By 1919, Ezra, a Civil War Veteran, was living in the Soldiars Home in Minneapolis, MN. He died 27 March 1928 in Minnesota.
