A service was at 10 a.m. today at L.P. Coffey Memorial Chapel for Cheryle (Grice) Tate, 42, Durnat, who died Tuesday, December 25, 2001, in Sherman, Texas. T The Rev. Dan McLemore officiated.

The daughter of Edgel Eugene and Jearl Dean (Brakefield) Grice, she was born Friday, December 4, 1959, in Riverside, California.

Mrs. Tate attended Silo schools and Murray State College. She enjoyed horseback riding, fishing and was an accomplished taxidermist.

She was preceded in death by her father, December 28, 1982, mother, October 14, 2000, sister Peggy Brown in May 1985, and three nephews.

She is survived by son Christopher Wilson, Durant; sisters Joy Eppler and Rachael Parker, both of Durant, Sheila Morford, Caddo, and Paula Bond, Hendrix; two nieces; five nephews, two great-nieces; one great-nephew; grandmother Francis Lamar Eslinger; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and first husband and father of her son Dennis Wilson.

Burial was in Fort Washita Cemetery. Coffey Funeral handled arrangements.
