Lenora Amanda, daughter of Trowbridge Alvia Nichols and Hattie Dora Amanda Zorn, married Adolph D. Page in Chapman 20 Nov 1892. They had seven children: Harry Everett, Walter, Oscar Arnold, Merle Orson, Hattie Belle "Sue", Fred August and Lela Margaret.

"Grand Island Daily Independent" [Grand Island, Hall Co., NE], Friday, 14 March 1958:

Mrs. Lenora Page, widow of Adolph Page, and a resident of Grand Island for the past 40 years, died Thursday evening in a local hospital following a long illness. Her home was at 311 West Division.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon in the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. A. J. Goodson will officiate. Burial will be in Chapman.

Mrs. Page was born Oct. 10, 1870, at Springgrove, Wis. When she was ten the family came to Nebraska and resided in Giltner and Merrick County. She and Mr. Page were married in November of 1892 at Chapman. They made their home in Chapman, Giltner and Central City before coming to Grand Island in 1911.

Mr. Page died Oct. 22, 1932. She was also preceded in death by two sons and two brothers.

Mrs. Page was a member of the Congregational Church.

She is survived by three sons, Harry, Merle and Fred, all of Grand Island; two daughters, Mrs. Lela Gephardt, Grand Island and Mrs James Hippe, Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, Alvin Nichols of Denver and Norris Nichols of Topeka, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Zada Sutley of Spokane, Wash.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lenora A. Page, widow of Adolph Page, and a resident of Grand Island for more than 45 years, will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. A. J. Goodson, pastor of the First Congregational Church, will conduct the service. Burial is to be at Chapman.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock Sunday evening at the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.

Mrs. Page died Thursday evening in a local hospital following an illness of one year. She had been critically ill for the last two weeks. Her home was at 311 West Division.

Mrs. Page was born Oct. 10, 1870, at Springgrove, Wis. When she was a child of ten, the family came westward and settled at Giltner.

Mrs. and Mrs. Page were married in November of 1892 at Chapman. They made their home in Chapman and at Giltner before moving to Central City in 1898. It was in 1911 that they came to Grand Island to make their permanent residence. Mr. Page died here Oct. 22, 1932.

Mrs. Page was a member of the Congregational Church since her early childhood.

She is survived by three sons, Harry, Merle and Fred Page, all of Grand Island; two daughters, Mrs. Lela Gephardt, Grand Island, and Mrs James Hippe, Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, Alvin Nichols, Denver, Colo., and Norris Nichols, Topeka, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Zada Sutley, Spokane, Wash.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
