OBITUARY:

SOUTH PORTLAND - Henry B. Arsenault, 82, of South Portland, died suddenly May 5, 2011 at his residence. He was born March 21, 1929 in Rumford, a son of Joseph Arthur and Mary Agnes Gallant Arsenault. He was educated in local schools and attended St. Hyacinth School in Westbrook.

Henry served stateside in the Korean Conflict with the Army. He married Evelyn Barbara Butkis in 1952 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

He worked for J. J. Nissen Company for 38 years and then worked at National Distributor for 2 ½ years, retiring in 1990.

Henry was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.

He enjoyed traveling and doing electrical work.

Henry was predeceased by his parents; his wife Evelyn in 2010 and a brother Paul. Surviving are a son Peter B. Arsenault and his wife Garceilla of Escondido, CA; a sister, Sister Agnes Arsenault of St. Paul, MN. and nieces and nephews.

A 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 10th at St. John the Evangelist Church, Main Street, South Portland. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, South Portland. Arrangements by Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, Maine.
