OBITUARY:

PORT ORANGE, Fla. -- Robert E. Boston, of Port Orange, Fla., died after a short hospital stay on April 12, 2011.
Bob was born in his parents home in Kennebunkport. After serving in Italy during WWII, he settled in Kennebunkport where he raised his four children. He worked for many years for the Tilo Company as a roofing and siding applicator.
In 1972, he married Paulene P. Brown, and they bought property in Hollis where they lived until Polly's death on Jan. 26, 2010. Bob then moved to Florida to live with his daughter, Susan Solana.
Bob enjoyed traveling, puttering around his yard and playing cribbage. He and his wife were members of the Pleasant Hill Church. He was a big fan of the Red Sox who he was watching the night he died.
Bob was predeceased by his wife, Paulene Boston; his parents, Ethel and Howard Boston; his brothers, Bill and Carl, and his sister, Nora Kolseth. Bob is survived by his sister, Jeanette Dunklin of Vermont; his children, Calvin Boston of California, Susan Solana and Robert M. Boston of Port Orange, Fla., Gail Colarossi and her husband Joseph of Wells; grandchildren, Craig and Cory Boston, Derek Blizzard, and Michael and Ashley Colarossi; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the Meeting House Hill Cemetery on Route 35 in Hollis on May 14, at 11 a.m.
