John A. Tralongo, resident of Santa Clara, CA. Born 4 November, 1927, in Milwaukee, WI, entered eternal life at his home on 28 May, 2010. He is pre-deceased by his parents Mary and Peter Tralongo and his brother Sam and sisters Sarina Alaimo and Mary Ohanion. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Anne, of 57 years, his sons John (Colleen) and Tim (Kim) Tralongo. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Joseph, Caelin and Colin Tralongo. He is also survived by his sisters Jenny Scimeca, Laura Lewis and Josephine Nickel and many nieces and nephews. He has lived in the Santa Clara Valley for 66 years. He proudly served in the US Navy in the Pacific at the conclusion of WWII. He retired after 32 years as an inspector for FMC. John enjoyed spending time with his family at his second home in Lake Tahoe. He loved fishing and taking bus trips with his family and friends to nearby casinos. He enjoyed gardening, barbequing, and working out with his friends at Club One. He was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation, Branch 390. He loved his family and friends. His greatest joy was being with his family and friends. He will be missed by all that knew him. Friends are invited to attend a Rosary at 7:30 on Thursday, 3 June with visitation beginning at 4pm at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel at 710 Willow St, San Jose, CA. A celebration of the Mass will be held on 4 June at 10am at St. Martin of Tours on 200 O'Connor Dr. San Jose, CA. Interment to follow at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Santa Clara Kaiser Hospice.
