Carrie Louise Laney, 72, of Mounted Route, Huntingdon, died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 1976 at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, where she had been patient since January 24. Born November 27, 1903 at Huntingdon, she was a daughter of James and Bertha (Morrison) Crownover. She was married to Earl T. Laney. Survivng are her widower and two sons, James Gray and Herbert T. Gray, Jr. both of Mounted Route, Huntingdon. Ther are two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister, James Crownover, Mounted Route, Huntingdon; Mrs. Elizabeth Hall, Moutn Union and Raymond Jackson, R.D. 3, Huntingdon. Four sistes and five brothers preceded in death. The deceased was of the Protestant faith. She had worked at the old Susquehanna Silk Mill in Huntingdon, and later at the Valley Motel, before retiring in 1967. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon.
