Connie K. Hicks, 14, of 1226 1/2 Washington Street, Huntingdon, died Monday, March 27, 1967 at 10:30 a.m. in the Harrisburg General Hospital where she had been a patient since March 13. She had been in failing health for the past three weeks. Born at Huntingdon on November 26, 1952, she was a daughter of William O. and Dorothy (Johnson) Hicks. She is survived by her father, of Mount Union; her mother, of Huntingdon; two sisters, Mrs. Jed (Barbara) Minaya of Huntingdon and Miss Carol Ann Hicks of Alexandria, Va. and a brother, William T. Hicks of Huntingdon. Also surviving are the maternal grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. R.B. English of Huntingdon and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Thelma Gutshall, Huntingdon R.D.1. The deceased attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Huntingdon and the church Sunday School. She was a member of the eighth grade class at Huntingdon Area Junior High School and had completed her primary work in the Alfarata Elementary School. She was a student in Mrs. Stewart Kauffman's home room at junior high school. Her entire life had been spent in Huntingdon. Miss Hicks was a member of the cheerleading club, and participated in girls' intermurals at the school. Interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon.
