Mrs. Effie Mae Stephens Campbell, 82, of 3567 Adams, died Tuesday evening at the Dee Hospital.
Mrs. Campbell was born Sept. 4, 1882, in Ogden, a daughter of William J. and Zilpha Heninger Stephens. In October 1907 she was married to Myron Campbell in the Salt Lake Temple. They were later divorced.
She was a member of the Twenty-eighth Ward and had been a Relief Society visiting teacher for over 50 years. She was a lifelong resident of Ogden.
Surviving are one son and two daughters, William S. Campbell, Henderson, Nev.; Mrs. Scott W. (Lola) Heiner, Burbank, Calif.; Mrs. LeRoy (Lenora) Mitchell, Clinton; 26 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters, Frank E. Stephens, Modesto, Calif.; Mrs. Myrtle S. Butler, Ogden; Mrs. Ina Rae Jones, San Diego.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in the Twenty-eighth Ward Chapel, 3750 Adams, with Bishop Alex R. Boulton officiating. Friends may call at the Myers Mortuary Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday until 12 noon. Burial in Ogden City Cemetery.
