HARRY BENTON BECKETT, 89, of Fudges Creek, Ona, moved to his Heavenly Home Sunday, September 21, 2003. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, at Susannah Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor Winford Curry. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery. Harry was born October 21, 1913, a son of the late Bracy and Georgia Keenan Beckett. He is also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Lois Beckett, and son-in-law, James D. Hatfield. He was a member for 53 years of the Susannah Missionary Baptist Church, many of those years spent as the treasurer. Harry was retired from INCO, and was a 53-year member of the Masonic-Minerva Lodge of Barboursville. He is survived by his wife, Eula Loudermilk Beckett; one daughter, Ann B. Hatfield; and his grandson, James A. Hatfield.
