John Michael Horath, 81, of Watson Township, formerly
of Union Township, Effingham County, died today November
18, 1981 at St Anthony Memorial Hospital.
John was born November 23, 1899 in Effingham county, the
son of Conrad (Coon)and Mary Ann Stroup Horath.
He married Opal Bertha McDonald in 1924, she survives.
John is also survived by two brothers; Lester (Edith),
and Calvin (Iris); two sisters; Emma (Robert) Cox,
and Ada (Thomas) Bennett and a sister-in law Roberta Yingst Horath.
John Michael was preceded in death by his parents
and one brother Henry Andrew.
Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery.
