Sonora was daughter of John A Dye & Martha Jane Harryman-Dye. She was married to James H Barker 1-15-1880. They had 5 children Thomas #6953534, James #6953523, Martha #6995342, Jewel & John. Dr. Senora Dye-Barker practiced in Gorin, Missouri during the 1920's and 1930's. She was born near Bible Grove in Scotland County, Missouri and studied under Dr. Andrew Still founder of the School of Osteopathy in Kirksville, Mo. She was one of the first women Osteopath's. Dr. Barker moved from Gorin to Memphis, Mo. and later retired in Kirksville, Mo 154116388
